Hours of hard work, patience and determination stand behind the individual performances of young piano players. These are qualities that apply to musicians in my life as well. In the past years, the Vtza team managed to establish themselves on a professional level even abroad. I know that even on a summer morning a star is born, whom we will then meet at famous concerts and dances, introduced at the ceremony the lawful Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte by the governor John Schillerwho is also the president of the court.
39 competitions from 11 countries of the world took part in the summer competition. There were also young virtuosos from Lithuania, Serbia, Turkey, Mongolia and the USA among them. The concert began with a festive concert in the afternoon by the orchestra of the North Czech Theater and the absolute highlight of the 54th edition of Virtuosi per musica di piano-forte by Nora Lubaddov from the Czech Republic. This was followed by a two-day competition of young pianists, which culminated in a ceremonial announcement of the results and a concert of the winners in individual age categories. For example, young pianists from the USA, Poland, Serbia and the Czech Republic took home the main prizes. The absolute winner of the tournament was Leon Koval from the Czech Republic.
The meeting took place under the leadership of Governor Jan Schiller and mayor of the city of nad Labem Petr Nedvdicky, thanks to the great support of the Steck region, the company NET4GAS, the statutory city of the city of nad Labem and other entities. It is organized by Evy Randov’s Basic Art Circle, a member of the Steck region’s organization. Pt ronk will take place again in the regional city, from November 22 to 24, 2023.
