The statement goes on to say that the Wagnerian rent formation “can be joined by men under 67 who are not vegetarian but are willing to walk 700 kilometers in two weeks”.
In addition, they offer them to quickly learn the following phrases in Polish: hands up, drop the gun, take off your clothes, it’s your fault. Onet.pl considers this announcement absurd.
According to the Russian constitution, the Wagnerians are prohibited from operating in Russia, but can operate abroad. They are currently fighting alongside Russian soldiers in eastern Ukraine, where they joined the fighting back in 2014, when Russia annexed the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics were established.
The Wagner family also operated or are still operating in Syria, Libya, Iraq and a number of countries on the African continent, such as Mali and Angola.
Fear of intrigue
The Daily Mail wrote some time ago that the Kremlin fears that the group’s founder, Prigozhin, is becoming too powerful and could start scheming against President Vladimir Putin.
According to estimates, Wagner’s group numbers about 50,000 men and until now has been a key part of many Russian operations in Ukraine, including the bloody battles at Bakhmut.
Prigozhin did not publicly admit to joining the group until September 2022. In the past, he was famous for his close ties to President Putin. He built his “fame and wealth” on a chain of restaurants and a catering company, Concord Catering, through which he provided numerous “services” both to Putin and to top Kremlin officials, including the command of the Russian army. This earned him the nickname “Putin’s Chef”.
Prigozhin has been on the US sanctions list since 2018 and on the European Union sanctions list since 2020.
On the contrary, we militarized Ukraine, it dawned on Prigozhin
