The police blame three foreigners, four Czechs and three legal entities for reducing value added taxes. According to the police, the accused were supposed to create a group of business companies, within the framework of which they were to import various goods from third countries to the European Union between 2018 and 2021, especially from China. According to the police, the aim was to avoid paying value added tax (VAT).

In this way, they imported goods with a total value of approximately 5.4 billion crowns. Thanks to tax cuts, they then came up with 1.2 billion crowns. The police stated this on their website on Friday.
