The game, which eats up over 200 GB of disk space, is quite large even by today’s standards. For example, on PlayStation 5 it takes up 234.9 GB. However, when we look at the specific data, we find that the complete installation also includes Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty HQ, and the Modern Warfare 3 campaign (via IGN). Multiplayer and zombies are not included yet. It’s less on PC. Activision recommends specifically uninstalling content that players are not actively using through COD HQ.

“Modern Warfare 3 is almost here. In preparation, we would like to provide an update on file sizes that are larger than last year. This is due to more content available on release day, including open world Zombies, item transfer support from MW2, as well as map files for the current Call of Duty: Warzone,” the developers write, adding a note that the final installation size will be less than in previous games.
