Criminal investigators accused a 32-year-old man from Valašské Meziříčí. He was supposed to attack his drunken girlfriend after a previous argument under the influence of alcohol. The woman died.
The incident took place on Tuesday night in the yard of a family home in Valašské Meziříčí. “After a previous argument, a 32-year-old man under the influence of alcohol physically attacked his drunken girlfriend who was a year younger,” police spokeswoman Simona Kyšnerová reported on the website on Thursday.
According to the police, he should have punched the woman several times in the head and face. She then fell to the ground and hit her head. “The aggressor then dragged the seriously injured girlfriend to a residential garden cabin, where he left her. He found her dead in the morning,” added Kyšnerová.

“We were going to the scene,” said Gabriela Netopilová Sluštíková, the spokeswoman for the rescuers. An autopsy ordered Wednesday proved a violent death.
Detectives charged the suspect with grievous bodily harm resulting in death. If found guilty, he faces up to 16 years in prison. “On Friday, a decision will be made about taking the accused into custody,” concluded Kyšnerová.
