The OnePlus brand recently introduced its first ever smartphone with a flexible display, now it is preparing to unveil the classic series flagship model. The Chinese manufacturer will hurry up with the premiere of OnePlus 12 – the official unveiling will take place at the beginning of next month.

OnePlus 12 will celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary

OnePlus is shortening the interval of revealing its flagships for the umpteenth year in a row – the OnePlus 8 saw the light of day in April, the OnePlus 9 in March and the last two models, the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 11, in January. To reveal the OnePlus 12, the Chinese manufacturer has chosen the date of December 4, the press conference is scheduled to start at 19:00 Beijing time.

The invitation depicts OnePlus CEO and co-founder Pete Lau standing on a clock. The white hand of the clock is pointing to the number 10, because OnePlus will want to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its existence with its new phone – the company was founded on December 16, 2013, and a month later it presented its first phone, the OnePlus One, which was dubbed the flagship killer. Even the OnePlus 12 is supposed to be an uncompromisingly equipped smartphone, if the leaks from the past weeks are confirmed, we can look forward to:

• 6.82″ LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1440 × 3168 pixels, a maximum brightness of 2600 nits and a variable refresh rate of 1-120 Hz
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and at least 12 GB of RAM
• Main 48Mpx camera using a stacked 1/1.4″ Sony Lytia 808 sensor
• 64 Mpx telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom (1/2.0″ OV64B chip)
• 48 Mpx wide-angle camera
• Battery with a capacity of 5400 mAh
• Profile slider
• Support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging
• Android 14 operating system with ColorOS 14 superstructure (OxygenOS 14 on the global market)
• Guarantee of at least 4 major system updates

At the moment, we do not yet have information on whether the OnePlus 12 will have some form of increased resistance. The December premiere of the OnePlus 12 will probably only concern the Chinese market, the global unveiling should take place shortly after the New Year – for the OnePlus 11, one month passed between the Chinese and global premieres.
