Piracy Minister for Legislation Michal Šalomoun said in a press release that the government is based on a program statement where it promised to “simplify life for entrepreneurs and self-employed people and relieve them of unnecessary paperwork.”
“Removing burdensome responsibilities that take up time and energy is a long-term and patient chore that I have been doing since I took office. Thus, three anti-bureaucratic packages were gradually created. The latest one focuses on so-called self-reporting obligations, which do not make sense,” he added.

For example, the new package introduces the fact that the employer could send some labor law documents, such as the payslip, to employees electronically.
“We have also included relief for people with a medical handicap in the package, so that they no longer have to supply a physical photograph for the application for a TP, ZTP and ZTP/P card. This will greatly simplify their lives, they will not have to go through the process of obtaining a photograph, which is very difficult for many of them. It’s tens of thousands of people every year,” added Šalomoun.
The latest set of measures was preceded by two other anti-bureaucratic packages, the first in 2022 and the second last year.
These packages abolished mandatory regular medical examinations for employees in non-risky professions, increased the turnover limits for mandatory VAT payment and for the option to register for flat-rate tax payment to two million crowns, introduced the option to keep accounts in a foreign currency or the option to submit pension applications online , canceled food certificates and others.
