Lidovky.cz: Is it actually possible to go and find anything similar to the liberation camps of Slovakia that we would not know, that was not described?
Yes, and it could be divided into two hundred. One sign is the lack of archives, which would, for example, better shed light on the operational activity of German units, their rank and details. Either they were edited at the end of the war, or they ended up in Soviet and American archives. In the case of Americans, they are available, but before the invasion of Ukraine it was theoretically possible to visit Russia as well.
But the problem is that there are often no inventory rooms. Even a long-term stay in these archives would therefore be looking for a needle in a haystack. Here we missed a lot of interesting details. And in the case of the Royal Romanian Army, which is often forgotten and which was largely defeated in the liberation of the former Slovakia, the language problem also plays a big role.
The second is the creation of documents that were not both educational and emotional. And first of all, thanks to them, we can no longer be afraid of various senseless myths that still exist around May 1945.

It is a mistake for many people that our country is again part of Western Europe. In Internet discussions, everyone is smart, but stupidly use Husk arguments, normalized historiography. So there is much to discover and correct. Everyone talks about history on the Internet today, probably full of nonsense, and from the left or the right. Unfortunately, the historian plays a secondary role in this deposit of modern history.
