/ PHOTOGALLERY / An English online magazine dedicated to events in the Czech Republic has published photos on social media, in which some shops in Prague forbid Ukrainians from entering. However, according to the findings of Pražský deník, no such signs hang on the store and the seller from one store and the owner of the other store refuse to ever hang.

“We have just received these two photos. Ukrainians are not allowed to enter several Prague shops, “Prague Morning magazine published on social networks on Thursday at 11 am.

Deník’s photo reporter visited the store a few tens of minutes later, but found no such inscription in the shop window. And the salesman was surprised to refuse that they would ever have such an inscription in the shop window.

Marcela Abdel Fattahová, the owner of a hosiery store in Sokolovská Street, reacted in the same way. “I’m not dealing with anything else now, customers and acquaintances are turning to us, and I have to explain to everyone that it’s a fake photo. We have never had any such inscription here. I am not interested in politics and I am no longer interested in prohibiting anyone from entering the store at all, “she told the Prague daily.

In the meantime, people are upset on social networks and find the ban unacceptable. But almost no one asked the Prague Morning broadcasters if they believed in the photo. The Prague daily tried to connect with the editors of the English-language website. They did not reveal the origin of the photos in the communication on the messenger. “The photos are real,” the Prague Morning editorial staff insisted.

The owner of the store also wants to contact the publishers of Prague Morning for an explanation. In the meantime, some discussants have marked the photos on Facebook as fake. For example, those who declared that they lived in the neighborhood and did not see any prohibitive sign on the store
