Häcken beat Malmö 4-2 in the penultimate round tie, securing third place. The match was not finished by Ousou, who was substituted due to an injury and already having received a yellow card in the 72nd minute at a score of 3:1.
The native of Mölndal did not forgive the provocation towards the visiting fans when leaving the field, in whose direction he clapped ironically. Subsequently, he also got into a fight with Malmö players who were warming up behind the sideline.
Ousou subsequently received a second yellow card and then a red card for this. In his defense, eight fans ran from the stands onto the pitch. Five of them have already been identified, the club has banned them from entering the stadium and they have been handed over to the police.
The aforementioned supporters ran out of the sector, where agents, club guests or people close to the players are mostly sitting. According to SVT television, at least one of the runaway sinners was given a ticket by Ousou.
“I should have handled the situation better, but in such a big match you have a lot of emotions. And I decided to go and applaud the (away) fans. In retrospect, of course it’s stupid. And the worst thing is that I got a second yellow card and put my team in a difficult situation. So I’m disappointed in myself,” he returned to the incident with distance in an interview with Göteborgs Posten.
However, he distanced himself from the action of the fans who came to his aid. “I can only be responsible for what I have done myself. I provoked the fans. And it’s not good that people ran onto the field,” he said.
In an interview with the aforementioned newspaper, he admitted that he had arranged a match ticket for one of the rioters, but at the same time claimed that he did not know the sinners.
The newspaper Expresen found that at least two of the five identified fans are linked to a criminal gang in western Gothenburg. The third was arrested last year after the Mölndal shooting. The man was then caught by the police right next to the car he had borrowed and which was used in the armed attack. He also had cartridges in his pocket that were used at the scene of the shooting.
Due to the red card, Ousou will not be able to start in the last league round and the season is therefore over for him. At the end of the year, his loan spell in Häcken will end and he should return to Slavia.
