Sparta’s footballers lost 1:2 to Rangers in Thursday’s Europa League match, but their fans received praise. Those who went to Scotland for the match were said to have behaved very politely and organised, moreover they cleaned up the sector after themselves and the representatives of the Scottish team praised them for it.
This summer, they praised Bohemka in the Czech Republic and Norway, when her fans cleaned up the sector after themselves after the match of the preliminary round of the European Conference League with Bodø/Glimt. Now the Sparta supporters who went to the Europa League match against Glasgow Rangers also received praise.
They are said to have behaved very politely and disciplined at Ibrox Stadium. After the match, they even cleaned up the trash after each other while waiting to leave the sector, and the Scots did not hide their enthusiasm.
“Spartans at Ibrox Stadium, it’s an honor to give you all the praise from the Scottish side that they haven’t had such an organized and fair group of fans here for some time. In addition, they are completely blown away by how some fans shortened their wait to be let out of the stadium (by cleaning the sector),” wrote a message from the Scots on the social network X, the administrator of the Sparta Praha – Fans account.
One of the fans of the Letenský Scots returned the praise. “I was honestly surprised by how smoothly it went from the side of security and the police. Everything is completely peaceful, with a tour more comfortable than on the quietest Czech outing. Good,” he said.
Although Sparta did not bring any points from Scotland, its supporters left a good impression in cup Europe.
