The head of Red Bull does not think that the team led by him would be sure of a clear advantage for the coming seasons.

After a major change in the technical rules that came into effect last year, Red Bull is completely dominating Formula 1. Last year, the Austrian stable won 17 out of 22 races and this year even 19 out of 20.

In the context of this, Lewis Hamilton let it be known that Red Bull will have an overwhelming advantage over the others in the years to come.

However, Red Bull boss Christian Horner does not agree with him, as he is convinced that his team will not have it so easy in the near future. Mainly because the team from Milton Keynes is pushing its single-seater concept to the limit.

When asked what the wind tunnel data shows about the car for the 2024 season, Horner replied, according to Autosport:

“It’s always difficult to read something out of these things. I think we have a great car and a great foundation. We have to keep developing it, but it’s getting harder and harder as we gradually get to the top of the development curve.”

Because of this, Horner expects the competition to be closer to Red Bull soon.

“Everyone will be getting closer. But our team is very motivated. It is known that since we won the championship, no one has let up. Everyone is still going all out,” says Horner.

The Briton also stated that the team led by him can learn from it. He cited last year’s race in Brazil as an example. Back then, Red Bull struggled, but this year the situation was completely different.

“We felt we didn’t have the right setup then. But we learned and applied all the knowledge this year. The result was pole position, victory in the sprint and in the grand prix (thanks to Verstappen, editor’s note). In the case of Checo (Pérez, editor’s note) it was third and fourth, so we had a very strong weekend,” concluded Horner.
