At the beginning of the match, goalkeeper Tomáš Jurco destroyed the chances of Nils Conrad and Claudio Mutter. Adam Zubek missed a great chance for the Czech team in the 13th minute, and a moment later Marek Zouzal hit the crossbar. Marco Louis did not mature against Jurac, and Jakub Buršík did not break the goalless streak on the other side either.

At the beginning of the second half, Mutter failed to beat the Czech goalkeeper again, and Tokoš had two great opportunities in the 26th minute. But first, the balloon jumped over his stick in the escape and he was unable to finish, then it hit the top post. At 28:24, the Swiss opened the scoring and after a pass from Nicola Bischofberger, Jan Bürki headed into the open goal. Petr Majer could equalize. The Czech team kept Jurco from the chances of the Swiss and in the 38th minute, Lukas Gerhart’s post helped Adam Delong.

Neither Noel Seiler nor Paolo Riedi were mature enough for Jurco, meanwhile Delong also had a chance. In the 52nd minute, Adam Hemerka equalized by stopping Tokoš’s shot. For Tokoš, it was the 102nd point for 57 goals and 45 assists. Seiler and Jan Zaugg could answer, but they couldn’t beat Jurc. The Czechs defended themselves even when Filip Forman was sent off, and on the other hand, Langer was fouled when he was weakened and converted the penalty himself.
