The first half between Newcastle and Luton ended 2:2. The home team sent Longstaff into the lead twice, the visitors equalized thanks to goals from Osho and Barkley. Luton made it two goals after the break after Morris scored from the penalty spot and Adebayo added another strike. “Magpies” equalized again after goals from Trippier and Barnes. Luton are sixteenth in the table, a point off the relegation zone.

Tottenham led twice in the first half thanks to goals from Brazilian Richarlison, who confirmed his excellent shooting form against his former team. He scored nine goals in the last eight league games.

Richarlison opened the scoring in the fourth minute and then gave Tottenham back the lead four minutes before half-time after Everton equalized through Harrison. For the second time, the home team rejoiced only in the fourth minute of regulation. Garner’s cross from the free kick was extended by visiting defender Romero to the back post, where it was headed into the net by home stopper Branthwaite.

Tottenham are in fourth place in the table and missed the chance to overtake their rivals from Arsenal. Everton are in the first relegation place in eighteenth place.

Penultimate Burnley drew 2:2 with Fulham thanks to two goals from January signing David Datro Fofana. Brighton beat Crystal Palace 4-1 to snap a three-match winless streak.
