Former US President Donald Trump took part in the Formula 1 race in Miami, and at times it looked like he was at his campaign rally around the track. As Trump marched in front of the stands, people chanted “USA, USA, USA” and saluted their candidate in the fall race for the White House. According to some, Trump even caused the surprise victory of British driver Lando Norris when he visited his car before the race.

The Formula 1 racing series moved to the United States at the weekend for the Miami Grand Prix. The British McLaren driver Lando Norris became the surprising winner, beating championship leader Max Verstappen from fifth place at the start. Norris won his first race in 110 starts in the series.
Former President Donald Trump came to Norris after the race and congratulated him on his victory. Before the race itself, Trump visited the McLaren stable to see the car, which then surprisingly won.
“It was a great honor to see my friends from McLaren win the Formula 1 race in Miami. It was a car that I visited and supported before the race. And that’s what we need for our country – VICTORY!” Trump said on the Truth social network.
Some users even suggest that it was thanks to Trump’s blessing that McLaren came to a surprising triumph.
“The car that Trump visited just won the F1 Grand Prix. Everything he touches turns to gold,” reads one of the comments.
In addition, Trump’s stop at the McLaren stable was in the spirit of the ongoing campaign before the fall presidential election, in which Trump will seek to return to the White House. As Trump, wearing a red cap emblazoned with the words “Make America great again,” marched in front of the stands, people chanted “USA, USA, USA” as the former president waved willingly.
