The West Bohemians have had a great cup run to the quarter-finals of the European Conference League, the final of the MOL Cup awaits them, they will finish third worst in the league, and Koubek has extended his contract with the club for another year. What are the key factors of a successful Pilsen season under his leadership? And is its continuation automatically a guarantee of further success? Pilsen’s last three matches ended with a result of 3:0, and every time the selection of the experienced coach was happy. This just puts a stamp on Viktoria’s excellent year, which the West Bohemians can crown with a victory in the cup final. In it, they will challenge Sparta at home on May 22. And they will continue this next season under the supervision of Koubek, who has extended his contract in Pilsen.
