Zlín introduced its fourth reinforcement – after Patrik Urbanac, Lukáš Válek and Jaromír Kverk, young defender Vítek Benda will join its ranks. The first league club announced his arrival on its website.
“We lacked speed and ferocity. This is also the reason why we are now making changes and rebuilding the team,” Rams general manager Jan Pravda admitted in an interview with Hokej.cz after the unsuccessful final with Vsetín.
And as he said, so he does.

He helped Baník with a 0+1 record in 12 matches, and Stadion to the historic semi-finals with a goal and two assists in 26 matches. Zlín ended the Litoměřice run in the seventh duel.
This will be his fourth Premier League season. Previously, he worked in Prostějov, in total he recorded 83 starts and eight points (1+7) in the second highest competition.
The Zlín rebuilding is far from over. “We will announce the next reinforcement, the fifth in a row, on Thursday,” the Rams inform on their website.
