Both night games had to be decided in overtime. The Rangers hockey players rejoiced at their second victory in the series, when Vincent Trocheck scored in the 88th minute. A few hours later, Miles Wood became a similar hero, completing Colorado’s turnaround on Dallas ice in the 72nd minute.

The Rangers grabbed their second win in overtime

The second game of this series also brought a wonderful hockey battle, which eventually stretched to the second overtime. In it, Vincent Trocheck was able to score the Rangers’ second victory, which sent almost all the fans in Madison Square Garden into complete euphoria.

The Hurricanes were clearly the more active team in this match, but Igor Šestorkin was in great form. The Russian goalkeeper scored fifty-four saves.

Colorado completed the turnaround in overtime
