West Ham started with Coufal and Souček in the starting line-up and both Czech representatives had a big part in the equalizing goal. Spurs took the lead in the first half, with a quick counter-attack Kane got to the goal and his final pass was knocked into his own goal by the home stopper Kehrer.
In the 55th minute, the Hammers equalized. Coufal quickly played a free throw-in to Antonio, who moved the ball to Souček, who beat Lloris with a sharp shot to the front post. They could have turned the game around at home in the final minute of regulation, but Bowen’s finish went wide of the three posts and none of his teammates managed to reach the ball.

The home team finally turned the game around, in the eighth minute of regulation there was a jam in the penalty area, during which Carvalho best found his way, who made Liverpool win with a volley.
