West Ham started with Coufal and Souček in the starting line-up and both Czech representatives had a big part in the equalizing goal. Spurs took the lead in the first half, with a quick counter-attack Kane got to the goal and his final pass was knocked into his own goal by the home stopper Kehrer.

In the 55th minute, the Hammers equalized. Coufal quickly played a free throw-in to Antonio, who moved the ball to Souček, who beat Lloris with a sharp shot to the front post. They could have turned the game around at home in the final minute of regulation, but Bowen’s finish went wide of the three posts and none of his teammates managed to reach the ball.

The reigning champion decided the match against the newcomer already in the first half. In the 12th minute, Foden’s cross was directed between the three posts by Haaland, and the same combination worked 11 minutes later, when Haaland collided with Foden and finished into an empty net.

Before the end of the half, the Norwegian striker headed in from close range to complete the hat trick. He scored three goals in his second game in a row and set a Premier League record as he scored nine goals in his first five games in England’s top flight. He surpassed Mick Quinn and Sergio Agüero with eight goals.

In the second act, the dominance of “Citizens” continued, Cancelo made it 4-0 with a powerful shot from behind the goal. The fifth goal was added by the home team’s summer reinforcement, Álvarez used Mahréz’s penetrating pass. The Argentinian striker scored for the second time at the end of the game to set the final score.

Arsenal dominated against Aston Villa and already in the first quarter of an hour, the players of the London club created several scoring opportunities, which they converted. In the 23rd minute, the “Gunners” created another great chance, but Saka missed the open goal after Martinelli’s cross. After half an hour of play, Martínez headed Xhaka’s cross just in front of him, where Jesus found his way the fastest and shot past the Argentinian goalkeeper.

The second goal could have been added by another Brazilian, Martinella’s shot into the gallows, but the Aston Villa goalkeeper made a great save for the corner. The guests managed to equalize in the second half. Douglas Luiz curled the ball straight into Ramsdale’s goal from a corner kick. But the home team responded quickly, Saka’s cross from the volley was cleared under the crossbar by Martinelli. Arsenal have won all five of their opening Premier League games and lead the table.

The visitors took the lead at Anfield, Longstaff found Isak with a brilliant pass, who scored on his debut for Newcastle. Liverpool managed to equalize after an hour, Salah passing from the edge of the box to Firmino, who promptly fired at the back post. The home team finally turned the game around, in the eighth minute of regulation there was a jam in the penalty area, during which Carvalho best found his way, who made Liverpool win with a volley.
