Manchester United football players continue their winning streak, in the 6th round of the English league they defeated the leaders Arsenal 3:1. Striker Marcus Rashford scored two goals and an assist. Arsenal dropped points for the first time after five wins.
Arsenal could have opened the scoring at Old Trafford, but Martinelli’s 12th-minute goal was disallowed for a previous foul on Eriksen.
The home side took the lead, towards the end of the second half Rashford passed to Antony and the second most expensive signing in the club’s history made his mark in the first match after arriving from Ajax Amsterdam.
After an hour of the game, the London team managed to equalize, although Jesus did not get to the shot, but the ball bounced to Saka and he cleared it into the goal.
The tie lasted just six minutes as Fernandes found Rashford with a brilliant pass behind the defense to put the home side back in front.
The English striker was among the scorers again in the 75th minute, when he finished off a counterattack after Eriksen’s pass. Rashford scored twice in one game for the first time since 17 December 2020 against Sheffield.
Brighton beat struggling Leicester 5-2. At the same time, the guests entered the duel brilliantly and took the lead after 52 seconds, when Daka eliminated the entire defense and the Brighton goalkeeper with a pass and Iheanacho finished into an empty net.
After a quarter of an hour, the home team was already in the lead after an own goal by Thomas and a shot by Caiceda. Leicester equalized before the break, Tielemans sent a ball from his own half for the defense, which was seized by Daka – and he scored.
After the change of sides, however, only the home team scored goals. Trossard arranged another turn in the 64th minute, who then won a penalty kick. Mac Allister converted the latter with an overview, and the Argentinian midfielder added a safety from a free kick in the set-up.

Hertha has the first win
The players of Hertha Berlin scored their first league win in the 5th round of the Bundesliga, winning 2:0 on the field of Ausburg. Czech midfielder Vladimír Darida remained on the visitors’ bench.
Hertha took the lead in the 57th minute when Lukebakio pounced on a cross and headed it in. The players from Berlin added insurance in the third minute of regulation: Selke presented the ball to Richter on the run, who looped it past Gikiewicz and finished into an empty net.
Augsburg failed to beat today’s opponent for the sixth time in a row and is in 16th place. Hertha moved up to 13th position.
Mainz beat Mönchengladbach 1:0 away. The key moment of the match came in the 53rd minute when Itakura illegally tackled the escaping Onisiwa, for which he received a red card. Martín decided the game from the subsequent free kick. Borussia suffered their first loss of the season.

Villarreal did not concede again
The Villarreal footballers did not concede even in the fourth match of the Spanish league, beating Elche 4:0 at home.
Spanish national team striker Moreno could have opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, but his shot was disallowed due to offside. But he waited only four minutes for a regular goal when he scored his own shot. Lo Celso increased the lead with a strike from an acute angle.
In the second act, the dominance of the home team continued, but they started converting chances only at the very end. French midfielder Coquelin scored from the volley. In the third minute of regulation, Morales set up the final score of the match. With a score of 9-0, Villarreal are the only team in all five of Europe’s elite leagues not yet to concede.
Both Valencia and Getafe scored only one goal in the opening three matches of the league competition, but it was not noticeable in the home team’s match. Valencia already led 3:0 in the 16th minute after goals from Lato, Lina and Castilleja. The last-named made his mark for the home team for the first time after coming from AC Milan.
The match did not go well for the visiting goalkeeper Sorio, the third goal was scored from his unsuccessful play and in the 65th minute he did not keep Nico’s header aimed directly at him. Three minutes later, Duro added the home team’s fifth goal after an individual action. Even Getafe prevailed in the end, Álvarez scored from a volley in the 78th minute.
Braithwaite moved from Barcelona to city rivals Espanyol on Thursday and made his first appearance in the new shirt today in Bilbao. His debut was a great success, in the 83rd minute he stopped the fight against the odds and decided the match with a shot on the front post. Español scored their first win in the league season, Athletic, on the other hand, lost for the first time.

Udine clearly beat AS Roma
In the 5th round of the Italian league, the Udine footballers defeated AS Roma unequivocally 4:0 at home and prepared coach José Mourinho’s biggest defeat in Serie A.
Udine took the lead early on after a big mistake by Karsdorp. Under pressure, the Dutch defender buried Pereyra’s cross to the goalkeeper, but Udogie caught it and slid it under the crossbar. Dybala could equalize in the first half, but he couldn’t beat Silvestri from the edge of the penalty area.
The home team increased the lead in the 56th minute. Samardžič shot from a long distance and his bouncing shot surprisingly fell to Patrício. Four minutes later, the Romans could have reduced the deficit, but Ibaňez’s header ended up on the left post. In the end, the home team prevailed twice more, first Pereyra and then Lovrič.
On the Spezia field, the guests from Boloni started better. In the 6th minute, Arnautovic went around the goalkeeper and shot past the sliding defender. The home team managed to turn the game around, in the setup of the first half, Bastoni hit the post from a distance, and in the 54th Schouten headed a cross into his own goal. The final score 2:2 was established by Arnautovic again from escape, this time with a shot between the legs of the goalkeeper. With five goals in five games, he is the top scorer this year.
Verona turned the match against Sampdoria at the end of the first half and won 2-1. In the 40th minute, the home team conceded when Caputo fired a shot at the back post from a turn. In the 44th minute, Henry headed into the crossbar, from which the ball bounced into the goalkeeper’s back and into the net. In the third minute of regulation, Doig completed the turnover. Hellas won for the first time, Sampdoria is still waiting for a win.
Cremona claimed their first Serie A point in 26 years thanks to a goalless draw with Sassuolo.
