What will be Slavia’s line-up against Balkani? And how will it be different from Sunday against Pilsen?

Slavia will face FC Balkani in the second match of the Conference League on Thursday. Jindřich Trpišovský may have a bit of a problem with putting together the lineup, because Tomáš Holeš was dropped, and on Sunday, he will be playing in Pilsen.

There is nothing to solve in the goal, the clear number one is Aleš Mandous, who catches everything and his position is not so demanding, so he does not need to save.

The question is the right back position. Trpišovský has Douděra and Masopusta at his disposal, but he likes to use Ivan Schranz in this position against weaker opponents. The use of the pair Douděra – Masopust on the right side is also in play, just like against České Budějovice.

The stopper duo will remain unchanged, Trpišovský revealed at the press conference that he practically has no other option than Ousou – Kačaraba. David Jurásek played in great form at left back.

The absence of Holeš will be noticeable. His place should be replaced by Christ Tiehi, just like at the weekend. Lukáš Provod will probably not start in the starting lineup, because due to persistent health problems, he will not be able to start in the matches 3 days in a row, and Trpišovský will want to have him fresh for Sunday.

However, Ševčík is not available either, and Traoré is still recovering from an injury, but he should be ready for the match. The deployment of Jakub Hromada or the positioning of two offensive midfielders next to each other (e.g. Lingr – Ewerton) are also in play.

However, Trpišovský has plenty of options offensively. Lingr or Ewerton can start on the wing, there are five options for the two wing positions. Masopust, Schranz, Olayinka, Usor and Jurásek.

In the cups, the coach of Slavia likes to bet on Usor, and Olayinka is also a traditional specialist for European matches. At the tip of the attack, the red and whites now have a clear number one, Stanislav Tecl.

Probable lineup of Slavia:

Mandous
Douděra – Ousou – Kačaraba – Jurásek
Tiehi – Traoré
Usor – Lingr – Olayinka
Tecl

And how could sestina turn into Sunday? Holeš will definitely not be there yet, but Petr Ševčík could cure the virus, who would be included in the starting line-up.

Yira Sor could also finally get things in order, but he would rather start from the bench. It is also possible to deploy Masopust as a back, as he handles the defensive part a little better than Douděra.

At the same time, the deployment of Schranz, the scorer of important goals, can also be expected. It is not even excluded that Trpišovský will keep Linger as a joker until the second half.
