The strongest period of the gaming year is in full swing, and Sony seems to have decided not to complicate our news-filled times. The offer of free games for PS Plus subscribers is, to put it mildly, below average.
The main attraction is the improved version of Mafia 2, which is undoubtedly an excellent game (see our review), but thirteen years old. The differences in graphics compared to the original are minimal, the gameplay has not been affected at all. So if you already know the original (as everyone in the Czech Republic knows it), there is no reason why you should try it again.
The online shooter from the world of aliens Aliens: Fireteam Elite is great, but it’s only worth trying if you manage to find two like-minded friends to play with. The game does include boots controlled by computer intelligence, but as you can guess, the experience is half as good with them (see our review).
The third game is an asymmetric action from the world of Japanese Dragon Ball. We will admit frankly that we have not tried The Breakers in the editorial office, but only a fifty percent rating on the Metacritic aggregator shows us that we will not do so even if the game is now free. Rather than a gift to fans, it seems as if its operators sensed a last chance to get the last few players in before shutting down the servers for good.
All games will be available until the end of the week, if you add them to your library they will stay there forever.
