Google is not one of those companies that simply sends an update to users and then just waits for what they say about it. Instead, it prefers to release the novelty to a smaller audience and then gradually expand the availability itself. This is also the case with another change within Google Maps in Android Auto.
Not just design
Today’s first news is more about the design of the navigation itself. You may not even notice it, as it is only a light adjustment. For example, the button to end the navigation in the floating widget has been moved to the bottom, the line separating the buttons and the time and distance information has been removed.

There was also a slight rearrangement of the information, where the travel time is now more dominant, and the approximate arrival time is displayed below it. There is also a new approach to the menu. Considering that it is nothing drastic, users will probably get used to it fairly quickly.
But what is more important is informing about speed limits, as you can see in the photo below. Jiří Bartál informed us that he first registered the function in his case. So it is possible that some have it too, or have received it earlier, others can expect it later. Google introduces such news randomly and gradually. Even so, this is a very useful feature, especially in sections where it is not obvious.
