- Google Pixel 8 Pro takes on iPhone 15 Pro Max in battery life test
- Although the winner was predetermined, the second phone certainly did not disappoint
The phones of the Google Pixel 8 series were introduced a month ago, and by the way, a full review has already been published on our website. In it, I praised the phone not only for the use of new materials, but also for improved cooling, full of AI gadgets, and I also mentioned better endurance compared to the previous generation. Although Google’s flagship does not reach the imaginary peak where the big iPhones, Galaxy S23 Ultra and ROG Phone still reign, I can see some improvement. YouTube channel PhoneBuff it now compared with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
iPhone 15 Pro Max vs. Google Pixel 8 Pro: Battery life
The PhoneBuff endurance test always does the same thing. Phones are controlled through a robotic arm with a special stylus so that the measurement is as fair as possible. Both mobile phones have the same brightness setting and the same applications run on them (or alternatives, if the given application does not exist on one of the platforms, but usually it is only the system ones). Each of the categories always gets an hour of space, whether it is calls, sending messages, browsing social networks, playing games or watching videos.
Google Pixel 8 Pro vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max Battery Test
The result probably won’t surprise anyone – As expected, the iPhone 15 Pro Max won this test. The phone from Google ran out of power after 25 hours and 53 minuteswhile the iPhone was still around at that time 18% capacity and he ran out of juice almost 2 hours later.
At the same time, we can take the result positively in the case of both phones. Apple confirmed its role as a favorite, but Google certainly did not disappointon the contrary, he worked on energy efficiency, which is much better than last year.
What do you think of the result?
