The main hallmark of PlayStation is exclusives with huge production values, for example the recent Spider-Man 2 (our review). These games deserve to be played on a quality TV with powerful speakers or quality headphones. It is in contrast to normal life until only a few meet these conditions.

The Explore headset will be the same as the PlayStation Portal itself.

Most of us have to compete with the rest of the family for space in front of the TV, not everyone is willing to stay up late for virtual adventures until everyone else goes to bed. This issue raised the PlayStation Portal device, it had a portable console with its own display to which the image from the switched on PlayStation 5 can be streamed. In order not to accidentally make a mistake, it is not a classic handheld that you take on the train or on a weekend at the cottage, because the game is played through connected to wi-fi and is very low on data volume.

The possibilities of use are therefore limited, but the device will surely find its way. In Japan, the PlayStation Portal will be available this month, and it will arrive on the 12th of November of the year. The recommended retail price is 5,390 crowns. That’s not a big deal, but it’s still necessary to remember that the controls used have all the features of the classic DualSense and a high-quality display.

Along with the consoles, the Explore in-ear headphones will also be released (for 5,390 crowns) and a day later the classic Elite bridge headphones for 3,690 crowns.
