The current Galaxy Z Fold 5 still has an official price tag of 45,000 crowns. This is extremely difficult for some users and they prefer to look for classic smartphones.
According to him, the South Korean manufacturer is aware of this and is preparing a basic model in the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6, maybe even a glued-on Ultra version, and a surprisingly cheaper model in the so-called fan edition, i.e. Fan Edition. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE should, according to previous speculations, cost under 800 dollars. That is roughly 18,500 crowns without taxes, with tax it could be under 23,000 crowns. According to the South Korean server Sisajournal-e, the smartphone/tablet splitter would be available to a wide group of customers.
According to a Korean source, the new Samsung folding device, roughly half cheaper, should use the same camera as the current model Galaxy Z Fold 5. We can expect more steps in the equipment.
The sources indicate a weak processor, less memory and less battery. The display should have higher technical parameters and, according to available speculations, it should not support the S Pen touch pen.
If we are to see the new basic Galaxy Z Fold 6 (and possibly the Ultra version), then the FE model will probably be released in the fall, just like the fan editions of the Galaxy S series.
