At the IFA 2022 trade fair, it is evident that the game of video games is also on the minds of consumer electronics manufacturers. Most manufacturers offer TVs with HDMI 2.1 and 4K image processing with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and possibly support for VRR (variable frame rate), ALLM (automatic low-color mode), and thus support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync synchronization technologies. Some manufacturers, such as LG and Panasonic, have introduced 42″ models that can be installed even at the foot of the table and sit at a good distance from them.

The LG company presented a unique novelty, the world’s first flexible OLED gaming TV. In this case, flexibility does not mean that the tablet is filled with flexible phones or laptops (the one Asus showed at IFA 2022 and Lenovo will also launch it on the market), but that by pressing the flat button, the TV turns into a curved one and vice versa. The degree of curvature can be adjusted in twenty steps, at the maximum it is a record 900R. If you folded the curved monitors into a circle, it would have a radius of 900 mm.

Play so that I can bend the TV at any time as it suits it for the given game, fall, you on the job, turn it into a completely straight one. It can be done both in the TV menu by pressing the button on the bottom edge and with the remote control.

The OLED Flex LX3 has a 42″ screen, 4K resolution and supports a frame rate of 120 Hz, VRR, ALLS, G-Sync and FreeSync Premium.

Thanks to the DVB-T2 tuner for receiving TV broadcasts between TVs. It is equipped with a pair of speakers with a power of 40 W and can also process sound in Dolby Atmos (but of course the pair of speakers does not render the floor space). The TV supports Multi View mode, in addition to the game from the console, you can also see your chat with your friends, the streaming software interface, or Twitch on the screen.

The LG OLED Flex LX3 should arrive on the market this autumn, but the price is yet to be decided.
