For an otherwise tough athlete, used to pants and a helmet, it is an exceptional piece of clothing. “The skirt got tangled in my legs, but it’s definitely worth it!” smiles the snowboarder during the live broadcast.
Who is the invisible face that dresses the StarDance dancers and largely creates the show’s visuals? Roman Šolc, currently one of the most sought-after costume theater designers. He is not far from dancing – he is a graduate of the dance conservatory.
However, preparing costumes for ballroom dancing was a new challenge for him as well. “It’s a different world, but I was really looking forward to it. I even went with a friend to watch the Czech Standard Dance Championship in Prague’s Lucerna to soak up the atmosphere,” she laughs.
