Republicans are holding their final presidential debate today in Miami, Florida. There will be the smallest number of candidates on the podium so far, as only five of them met the qualification rules.
Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, US Senator Tim Scott and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will discuss together.
North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, who participated in the first two debates, did not qualify this time. Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, who appeared in the first debate, did not qualify for a second run. And former Vice President Mike Pence recently dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.
Donald Trump will not appear either, he has not appeared at the debates since the beginning. But so that his voters do not follow other candidates, he organizes a political rally for his supporters right in Miami, which takes place at the same time as the debate. (NPR)
