We know the Czech prices of the rejuvenated Opel Corsa and Corsa Electric. They didn’t get much more expensive

The smallest Opel on the Czech market underwent modernization, which, in addition to the design, mainly affected the technology of the electric variant. It got a stronger electric motor and a bigger battery. However, a weaker design with a smaller battery remains in the offer.

The facelift of the Corsa model range focused mainly on a refreshed design and more modern electronic equipment in the case of combustion engines. The front part is proud of the mask Opel Visor, which the Crossland and Grandland crossovers already received, for example. The front headlights are also new, optionally also available in the LED Matrix version with fourteen modules instead of the original eight, which, in addition to high performance, should also ensure minimal glare for nearby drivers.

In the cabin we can find a new steering wheel, a redesigned gear selector and also new upholstery. After modernization, the instrument panel is fully digital, while the multimedia has also undergone a change. It received a ten-inch screen and the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit platform with higher performance, better graphics and other improvements.

The range of petrol engines is still the same as the original model, which relied primarily on a 1.2 liter three-cylinder with and without turbocharging. However, a significant change is the end of the 1500 diesel model. On the contrary, it is a novelty more powerful electric variant with an electric motor with 115 kilowatts and a battery with a usable capacity of 51 kWh instead of the current roughly 46. However, even the older one remains in the offer and fulfills the role of an entry model into the world of electricity.

Unlike in the past, the basic Corsa line will no longer be found in the price list, so the offer starts with a grade Edition with standard elements in the form of ESP, hill start assistant, frontal, side and head airbags, central locking and other elements. Higher GS adds, for example, a 130-degree rear parking camera with front and rear sensors, electrically operated, heated and folding exterior mirrors, sports seats in front, a ten-inch central display and a 7-inch screen in front of the driver, 16-inch black rims or blind spot monitoring. Top performance Ultimate (previously the Elegance grade was included in the menu) also received, for example, integrated navigation, automatic air conditioning, LED Matric headlights, keyless entry and start, heating of the front seats and steering wheel, seventeen-inch rims or a massage function on the driver’s seat.

Depending on the engine and version, there was a slight increase in prices by 10,000 to 30,000 CZKwhich are tolerable amounts considering more modern multimedia and other elements.
