Advancement after four rounds? That’s in the game too. Although Slavia Prague did not get the full number of points from the first three matches, they have six, but even so, they can already secure promotion to the spring.
Slavia started the Europa League in an excellent way, winning 2:0 at Servette. She followed that up with a 6-0 demolition of Šerif Tiraspol, and at least the fact that she will play the spring part of one of the competitions has already been practically decided.
Although Slavia lost in Rome, the draw between Servette and Šerif helped them a lot. After three rounds, AS Rome has 9 points, Slavia has 6 and the other two teams have one each.
This opened up an interesting possibility for stitchers. Already today, they can secure promotion to the spring part of the Europa League. They need two things to do this.
The first one is the victory over AS Roma. A difficult task to be sure, but certainly not an unrealistic one. If Slavia succeeds and there is a draw again in the second duel, the seamers will have a certain progress.
At that moment, they would have nine points, Servette and Šerif 2. There would be only 6 points in the game and the Swiss-Moldovan duo would therefore not be able to catch up with Slavia.
Slavia would also be in the game for first place with AS Rome. This also has a great advantage. The winner of the group goes straight to the round of 16 of the Europa League. The second team from the group will present itself one round earlier, in the 1/16 finals it will challenge the third team from the Champions League group.
On the one hand, it could be interesting to compare with some famous team from the Champions League, at the same time, if they want to go as far as possible, the way is definitely through the first place in the group.
