In Thursday’s session, the American indices corrected their previous growths, and the Dow Jones index did not extend the growth streak and corrected by -0.65%. WTI light oil halted its decline and found price support at the level of 75.6 USD/barrel. and added 0.4%. It was hindered from a bigger profit by the strengthening dollar, which added 0.4% to the pair with the euro, i.e. 1.0665 USD/EUR. A stronger dollar also hindered the yellow metal, which strengthened by 0.3% and gold reached the level of 1,963 USD/Troy. ounces. Today, the greatest contribution to the overall decline in the index was the Healthcare sector with a loss of -2.1%, followed by Essential Consumption -1.8% and Real Estate with a loss of -1.5%.
