Diana’s death in Koruna: We will see the relationship with Dodi and the tabloid hounding of the princess

The final season will cover the events that affected the British royal family between 1997 and 2005. One of the main themes of the opening episodes will be the unfortunate end of Princess Diana’s life (Elizabeth Debicki), which was prematurely terminated in August 1997 by a car accident in a Paris tunnel. Lady Di was in the car along with her partner at the time, Dodi Al-Fayed. The tragedy was preceded by a chase with paparazzi on a motorcycle, who wanted to capture new photos of the popular icon and her lover after returning from vacation.

According to the creators, the accident itself will not be shown in the series – certainly not explicitly. “We realize that this is an extremely hot topic, and we have been thinking for a long time about how to tackle it.
