No nostalgia. I wouldn’t go back to kindergarten for anything. The woman, her name was Malíková, who was in her thirties at the time, was simply terrible. Few of us were looking forward to kindergarten in the morning…

I have bad memories of kindergarten

As far as I remember, the class had to be quiet. It didn’t matter how we played, there was no shouting or raising the voice. I’ll tell you, he plays the dumb Indians and cowboys wrong. And whoever didn’t listen went to the corner. He couldn’t even watch what others were doing.

Malíková believed in hardening, so in winter it was basically not hot and we had open windows. No wonder someone was always marauding. Parents didn’t care much about it. It is said that they experienced something similar under the Communists, so it seemed normal to them. Order just has to be…

Perhaps no morning went by without a brat, and I know that some boys peed themselves because they were afraid of Malíková. I’d rather not even list what we suffered because of her. Today I have my own children and I found them a kindergarten with teachers who are very nice. I even sometimes have trouble taking my children home because they feel great in kindergarten.

I met a woman who abused me

Most of the people around me don’t remember much about kindergarten. We were just little and played every day, that’s about it. But I remember enough because of Malíková. More than I would like. I also never forgot her face. When they say that a person is what they are on the inside, it was 100 percent true for her. She was very ugly.

You can’t just forget something like that. Now to why I say this. I met her a few days ago. I hadn’t seen her in thirty years, but that face broke out in front of me in the crowd. I don’t know how this is possible, maybe some sixth sense warned me that evil was coming.

But now I’m an adult and I have nothing to fear. Malíková is in her sixties, she will be harmless. I watched her for a while and realized that she was an old woman with a cane. He appears to be at least ten years older than he actually is. Could it be that she came off like that because of her behavior? Or is she sick?

He doesn’t deserve pity

Malíková walked past the fruit stand and looked at the apples on display. She took one in her hand and watched it carefully. Then she probably decided not to buy it. But instead of returning the apple, she simply threw it on the ground. Then she took another, dropped that too, and left.

She’s just mean and cranky even in her old age. As she walked away, it occurred to me that her body reflected her character better than a mirror. She probably doesn’t deserve anything else for ruining a lot of people’s childhoods…
