Public reaction to Rangers vs. Sparta: The worst half in the last three years. I’ve never seen anything worse than Gomez’s performance

Sparta could not manage the match in Scotland and fell to Rangers 1:2. After the game, stopper James Gomez and coach Brian Priske get a lot of attention from the fans. What are the reactions of the public?

After the home draw, it was clear that Sparta must not lose in Scotland, or they will hardly hold onto their hopes of progressing to the next stage of the Europa League. The line-up was discussed a lot, the name of James Gomez was discussed the most.

The Gambian stopper has not been performing well in recent games, but coach Brian Priske has been behind him nonetheless. And in the 11th minute, he no doubt regretted it when Gomez gifted the ball to the opposition and the opening goal at the same time.

Understandably, most of the reactions were caught by Gomez, after his substitution, Sparta started to play much better and even managed to reduce the score, although they still did not threaten their opponent too much going forward.
