A van accident closed traffic on Jablonecká street in Liberec on Friday morning. The van driver drove down a slope here around 7am and crashed into a family home below.

The driver and two children traveling in the vehicle were injured in the accident. “Two minors suffered minor injuries and were taken to Liberec for further examination. The driver suffered a moderate injury and the paramedics took him to the trauma center in Liberec,” said Michael Georgiev, spokesman for the paramedics.
Firefighters responded to the scene. “They carried out vehicle stabilization and fire prevention measures. The injured persons were handed over to the care of paramedics,” informed the Fire and Rescue Service of the Liberec Region. The car subsequently had to be extricated in cooperation with the firefighters of the Railway Administration.
