Hill, Chimaev, Jones or Pereira? The walk describes the greats of the UFC
Jared Gordon vs Mark Madsen – Madsen Winner 2.67
Jared Gordon is a 35-year-old fighter from the United States. Jared is a complex wrestler who prefers attitude. Thanks to his good boxing foundation, the American does a huge amount of work on his feet. He averages over 7.00 strokes per minute with 50% accuracy. He has fairly quick hands and moves well in the Octagon. Gordon uses his wrestling skills and BJJ primarily for defense. The main problem with this fighter is his cardio.
Mark Madsen is a very experienced fighter. However, he achieved his greatest sporting success outside of the UFC. He is an Olympic silver medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling and a five-time World Championship medalist in this discipline. It is therefore natural that he relies a lot on controlling the opponent on the ground, which he does more than well. He also has a very solid takedown delivery success rate of 66%. Given the high odds, it’s worth trying Madsen, but overall I see the matchup as very even.
Matt Frevola vs Benoit Sait-Denis – Saint-Denis wins by KO/TKO 2.60
Saint Denis is becoming a dangerous lightweight, and his combination of hard striking and a relentless ground game is guaranteed to put him in the game for a big fight in short order. In his last fight, we saw a comprehensive performance in which he landed 101 significant punches in less than two rounds to finish Thiago Moises. Saint-Denis dismantled its opponent in all aspects of the match. This duel will be a bigger test of his durability as Frevola has won three straight by KO/TKO. However, the French legionnaire has already shown great resilience several times and so far no one has managed to end him in any way.
Saint Denis can also lean on his grappling, and that’s something Frevola can’t deal with. It could be an entertaining match with some solid stance exchanges, but the more resourceful Saint-Denis should prevail. I believe this match has two capable finishers going at it from the start. I’m leaning towards Saint Denis winning by KO/TKO, but the 2.02 KO/TKO odds aren’t out of the question either.
Tipsport also this time offers a lot of special bets on Jiří Procházka’s fight, where I was interested in the bet on who will have more significant blows in the match in favor of Procházka at odds of 1.90.
