One of the injured women had to be airlifted to the hospital

This afternoon there was a traffic accident at the railway underpass near Běšin in Klatovsk, in which a passenger car ended up off the road.
Several injured people were reported from the scene, so all emergency services went to the accident and the helicopter of the Air Rescue Service was also called.

Firefighters secured the area and fire prevention measures, while paramedics took care of a total of three injured persons.

“A woman with moderate injuries was transported by air to the Emergency Department of the Pilsen University Hospital. A woman and a man, both with minor injuries, were transported by land to the hospital in Klatovy.” the rescuers told us, adding that the older of the two women was transported by air.

“A Škoda Kodiaq driven by a man born in 1974 was driving from Železná Ruda to Klatovy and, apparently, on a wet road, he did not adjust his speed before a right-hand bend, skidded, went off the road and hit a vertical traffic sign, after which he entered a ditch.
There was a woman born in 2004 in the passenger seat and a woman born in 2000 in the back seat who suffered the most serious injuries. The driver submitted to a breath test for alcohol with a negative result, and the police are still investigating the accident.” the police spokeswoman added.
