∎ NOTES: Southern Conference preseason player of the year Vonterius Woolbright scored 19 points with eight rebounds and seven assists and DJ Campbell added 18 points and six rebounds as Western Carolina opened Tuesday with a 106-65 home victory over NAIA Dalton (Ga.) State. The Catamounts shot 58.8 percent from the field, 45.8 percent from 3 and 72.4 percent from the foul line. They scored 55 points in the second half.
