Done. The football players of Karlovy Vary Slavia concluded the autumn part of the Fortuna ČFL A in the 15th round. At the end of the third-league autumn, the Drahovic artists played a goalless draw with the České Budějovice reserve. In a match with few chances, the South Bohemians could decide on a three-point transport to South Bohemia at the end of the duel, who had the advantage of a penalty kick, but Martin Prášek directed it only into the crossbar.

“In the last match of the autumn, we wanted to grab the much-needed three points. Unfortunately, it didn’t work,” commented Karlovy Vary coach Martin Bulíček sadly after the match. The first big chance against Drahovice artists South Bohemia was when in the 15th minute Robin Polanský ran onto a pass from the center of the field and went around the Slavia goalkeeper, but the ball fell to him, so the Karlovy Vary captain Martin Pěkný managed to kick the ball off the goal line.
In the 18th minute, Slavia was also threatened by Maksy Skybinskyi, who got to the bounced ball on the edge of the Budějovice penalty area, whose subsequent shot caused great problems for the visitors’ goalkeeper. For the second time, they came close to scoring in the 23rd minute, when Markovych flashed a poisonous shot, which the South Bohemian goalkeeper only deflected in front of him, and Böhm was then able to clear the ball to safety.
“We ran into a well-organized opponent, and yet I think we had a chance to score a goal, but we lacked emphasis and such foresight and hunger to push the ball into the goal,” Bulíček pointed out.
The guests then remembered after the change of sides, when in the 60th minute Broukal had a goal on his head, but goalkeeper Chára reflexively pushed his header into the corner. In the 65th minute, Vyleta from Karlovy Vary scared the visitors’ goalkeeper with his free kick, who forced the ball over his own goal with effort.
In the 76th minute, they demanded a penalty kick after a foul on Horník in the guests’ penalty area, but without success. On the contrary, the penalty was kicked on the other side in the 86th minute after a foul on Pařížek. Martin Prášek placed the ball on the penalty spot, who only directed his attempt into the crossbar, thus deciding on the division of points after the score was 0:0.
The amok in Božičany received harsh punishments: dismissal, fine and distance from the union
“In the end, we could actually lose, but fortunately the best scorer of the competition, Prášek, hit the ball into the crossbar from the penalty spot. So there was a bit of disappointment with the point, on the other hand, in this competition, even the point has its price, when we perhaps kept a clean sheet for the first time in the autumn,” said the Karlovy Vary coach conciliatoryly.
Slavia thus hibernates with a fourteen-point gain in fourteenth position. “The competition is extremely even from the eighth place and it will be decided in the spring part,” added Bulíček in conclusion.
