FARGO — North Dakota State bolstered its playoff chances with a 34-10 victory against Southern Illinois on Saturday in Missouri Valley Football Conference play before 14,191 fans at the Fargodome.
The Bison rushed for 217 yards and four touchdowns on 45 attempts to power past Southern Illinois.
NDSU (7-3, 4-3 MVFC) scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to earn its third win in the past four games.
The Bison play at Northern Iowa next Saturday to close out the regular season. A win against the Panthers would likely earn NDSU a spot in the FCS playoffs.
