NC State women’s basketball is set to host the winningest program in the sport Sunday when No. 2 UConn and former Naismith Player of the Year Paige Bueckers come to Raleigh.
The game is scheduled to start at 3 pm
The teams have played 10 times with their most recent game last season when the Huskies dealt the Wolfpack their largest margin of defeat all year, 91-69.
Before that, they squared off in a 2021 Elite Eight double-overtime classic that ended NC State’s tournament run as a No. 1 seed when they had to play in Connecticut against the lower-seeded Huskies.
