Roman Dolidze vs Nassourdine Imavov – Dolidze Winner 2.27
The styles of both fighters put them among the TOP fighters of the UFC middle division and showed their technical prowess. Dolidze’s pressure at the start of the bout will be a big test for Imavov to handle, as will Dolidze’s cardio over the course of 25 minutes, as the bout is a five-round bout. Given the strengths of both wrestlers and their recent performances, this bout will be a battle of Dolidze’s grappling with Imavov’s stance.
The odds favor Imav most likely due to his defense which is quite impressive (72%), however Dolidze is certainly a fighter who could break through if he successfully applies his grappling, which could change the momentum of the match in his favor. If we were to compare who is a far more technical stand-up guy, Imavov excels with his kickboxing, living up to his nickname “Russian sniper”. However, Imavov also likes to kick, which might not pay off for him in this fight, if Dolidze can catch the kicks, he has a very easy path to a takedown. For Dolidze, clearly the “easiest” way to bring this match to a winning end.
Renato Moicano vs Drew Dober – Dober to win first or second round 4.04
This fight has two scenarios for me. Moicano wins by submission in the first and Dober by KO/TKO in the second. Moicano is coming off a win over Brad Riddell and I think a submission victory is the main goal for him in this fight as well. That’s exactly what he’ll need to do when he fights someone like Drew Dober. Pwhere the match will take place in stance, Dober will be in his element.
Moicano does not have a very good success rate when it comes to delivering takedowns and his success percentage is 46%. Dober has been putting up nothing but hard fights for the past few years, all against opponents who have accepted his style, but this time there is probably a bit of a clash that could be a problem for Dober. However, he still has dangerous hard punches and will undoubtedly land a lot of them on Moicano during the match, but if it gets too wild and Moicano gets a takedown and control over his opponent, then it’s effectively over.
Dober is a tempting underdog in this matchup and has a fairly good chance of winning. I have the most faith in the bet here that he will win in the first or second round at the beautiful odds of 4.04. As a second possibility, a Moicano victory by submission is offered at odds of 2.20.
