On the basis of a notification from the emergency services, the Přerov police officers went to the traffic accident on Thursday at 5 p.m., which happened in the cadastre of the municipality of Radslavice. The 18-year-old driver overturned the car on its side, allegedly because of a sudden indisposition.

“A young eighteen-year-old driver was driving in the direction from the named village to Grymov, and while driving, according to his report, he suddenly felt ill. He drove the Škoda Fabia to the right on the shoulder, where he hit a guardrail and the car rolled onto its left side and remained standing on the road in this position,” police spokeswoman Miluše Zajícová described the accident.

EMS units arrived at the scene and the driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital for examination. “The breath test ruled out that the young man had consumed alcohol before driving. Material damage is preliminarily estimated at 50 thousand crowns. The circumstances and cause of the accident are still under investigation,” the police spokeswoman added.
