The WBA World Title Final Eliminator clash between #1 and #2 world ranked light heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 3 and will be broadcast live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and Peacock in the USA.

Buatsi (17-0, 3 KOs) and Azeez (20-0, 13 KOs) were set to meet on October 21st at The O2 but a back injury suffered by Azeez in his final training session forced the postponement of their all-British showdown . The rescheduled contest will now take place at The OVO Arena, Wembley due to a lack of available dates at The O2.

Adam Azim makes the first defense of his EBU European Super Lightweight Title against undefeated former champion Enock Poulsen.

Azim (10-0, 7 KOs) dethroned Franck Petitjean in front of a capacity crowd in Wolverhampton last month to be crowned European king. A spectacular feat for the 21-year-old, who became the quickest Englishman to win the European Title, surpassing the achievements of former champions Spencer Oliver and ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed, also making him the first British-Pakistani to lift the blue and gold belt.

Poulsen (14-0, 5 KOs) is no stranger to European success himself, having also defeated Petitjean to claim the title in April 2022. The undefeated Dane, who was ringside to watch Azim’s crowning moment, believes he is the rightful holder of the belt having never lost it in the ring and is eager to recapture his title and end Azim’s meteoric rise.

Ben Whittaker will look to steal the show as he returns to action on the undercard.

Whittaker closed the year in style with a highlight reel knockout of Steven Leonetti Dredhaj in Bournemouth. Now 5-0, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Silver medalist is aiming to kick-start the New Year with another spectacular performance when he takes on the Swiss-based French fighter Khalid Graidia over eight-rounds.

Rising featherweight star Francesca Hennessy and heavyweight hope Jamie TKV are also confirmed for action in the capital. Hennessy, who has wowed fans with her explosive style since joining the paid ranks last year, goes in search of her third professional victory, while TKV looks to get back to winning ways having suffered his first career defeat to Igor Macedo in September 2023.
