The accident confined the biathlon commentator to bed. The collection will help him return to his family

--

The biathlon world championship in Nové Město in Moravia is knocking on the door. Unfortunately, TV viewers will have to do without a familiar face and voice this time. Czech TV commentator Tomáš Lachman will not be at the biathlon summit this season. In a serious accident last spring, the father of two children suffered a brain injury and spent many weeks in artificial sleep. A public fundraiser has now been announced to help Tomáš return to normal life. You can help too.

Since 2008, Tomáš Lachman has been as integral to biathlon as shooting range. However, this working connection was unfortunately severed last May.

In a matter of seconds, his life and those close to him were turned upside down. In an unfortunate fall from the stairs, Tomáš suffered a brain injury, had to undergo several demanding operations and spent a long time in artificial sleep.

You can help Tomáš Lachman HERE.

He has been bedridden ever since. Thanks to the care of doctors and those closest to him, he has already started to speak, but he still does not control his muscles. He is now being looked after by experts at Lázní Bělohrad.

In order to return to normal life and, above all, to return to his family, he needs to continue specialized complex neurorehabilitation care.

AT A GLANCE: Program of the Biathlon World Championships. When will the Czech stars go?

In order to ensure further care and also to purchase individual aids that would at least partially return Tomáš to normal life, a public fundraiser was announced, through which you can also contribute.

Let’s help Tomáš back on his feet!
