The 2024 Caribbean Series continues on Saturday, marking the third day of the short club baseball tournament. This is the 66th edition of the legendary tournament, which is being played at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida.
Mexico’s Naranjeros del Hermosillo so is he Panama’s Federales de Chiriqui in the second game of the day, which begins at 3:30pm ET / 12:30pm PT. It will be shown on ESPN Deportes and ESPN+.
Naranjeros have lost their first two games and are a -3 in run differential, while the Federales have only played once, winning that game 7-3.

Mexico’s Naranjeros de Hermosillo are managed by Juan Castrowho spent 17 years in MLB as a player and also was a coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies. The Naranjeros won the Mexican Pacific League last season and have won the Caribbean Series twice in their history.
Panama’s Federales de Chiriqui are managed by Jose Mayorga. The club is very new, having been founded in 2019. They have won the Try it league two years in a row and are now competing in their third Caribbean Series in club history.
Venezuela defeats Curacao in Caribbean Series game on Saturday
In the first game of Day 3, Venezuela’s Tiburones de La Guaira defeated Curacao’s Curacao Suns 4-2. Ozzie Guillen‘s Venezuela team got a two-run home run in the first inning from Ramón Flores and then scored their final two runs in the third inning through a Yasiel Puig RBI walk and a Wilson Ramos fielder’s choice.
Venezuela moves to a perfect 2-0 record with a 7-3 run differential. Curacao drops to 1-2 and has a Series-worst -5 differential. Venezuela will face their toughest test, Puerto Rico’s Criollos de Caguas, on Sunday. Curacao will play against Nicaragua’s Gigante de Rivas on Monday.
