Schedule of the semi-finals of the 2nd league: west vs. east, “Extraleague” mode begins | Hokej.cz

There was no surprise, the four best teams advanced to the semi-finals of the second league after the long term – Chomutov and Tábor from the west, Havířov and Vyškov from the east. The battles for the finals start already on Wednesday, April 3.

While the current series was played within the groups, the semi-finals will already feature the expected battles between the West and the East – Chomutov will compete with Vyškov and Havířov will challenge Tábor, who only decided to progress through Příbram in the fifth match. The remaining three quarter-final series were dominated by the favorites in the shortest possible time with a ratio of 3:0 per match.

The second league players will already enter the extra league or first league mode. The opening two matches will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Chomutov and Havířov, on Sunday and Monday the series will move to Vyškov and Tábor. Newly, it will be played for four victories, the finalists will be known no later than Sunday, April 14, when a possible seventh game is scheduled.

The fight for who will replace relegated Znojmo in the next first league season will begin on Wednesday, April 17. The series played for four winning duels can last until the penultimate day of April – that is, one day later than the eventual seventh game in the final of the extra league.
