The supporters of SKST Chodov are like thorns before the second semi-final battle of the men’s table tennis extra league. Today, Chod’s table tennis players can confirm their progress to the Superfinal if they manage a challenging duel on the tables of NH Ostrava.

The Chodovský selection under the baton of coach Richard Výborny was able to fool NH Ostrava in the first duel, when he celebrated a 3:0 win in front of his fans, thereby getting closer to participating in the Superfinal.
“Certainly the fact that Ostrava’s number one Kadlec was tired also played a role in this, but of course also the fact that we did not underestimate anything and tried to prepare for the match honestly,” said coach Chodova, returning to the first semi-final battle. And it is precisely the performance from the home environment that his wards will want to follow up on the opponent’s tables, but nothing easy awaits them at all.
Reason? “The hall in Ostrava is a bit specific. The balls stop, and the Ostrava players are used to it,” Výborný reminded that they will have to fight not only with the opponent, but also with the specific environment where the second semi-final battle will take place. In addition, Ostrava is very strong at home. “The advantage of the home environment can play a key role in the rematch,” reflects the SKST coach before the second match.
“Ostrava has nothing to lose, they surprised, they have nothing to lose at all, moreover, they have young and ambitious players in the team,” Výborný is aware. However, the West Bohemians want to succeed at the opponent’s tables, which would make it to the Superfinal.
